NPP UK Mourns Murdered Former CPP UK Vice Chairman
NPP UK is deeply shocked to learn of the brutal murder of Mr Hayford Akrofi, the former Vice Chairman of CPP UK and? recently a member of the CPP ?National? Central Committee . MrAkrofi was shot dead by armed robbers at his residence in Accra on Sunday 22nd June,2014.
Our sincere condolences go to his wife and family, members of the CPP UK and Ireland and the entire CPP fraternity.
MrAkrofi,? while a member of the CPP UK and who was its ?Vice Chairman was a familiar voice on Ghanaian radio stations in the UK and contributed his quota on issues of National Development. We found him to be a worthy opponent who although differing with us ideologically always did put his points across in a decorous and ?humorous manner.
We urgently call on the police and the security services to investigate and ?leave no stone unturned? in bringing the culprits to justice.
The government really? must wake up to the growing menace of lawlessness and armed criminal activities that claim innocent lives of Ghanaians who ?contribute to the development of the nation.
