The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), has announced a?new commandant for its Ondo State Command.?He is Commandant Claudius Danladi Yakubu from Paiko in Paikoro Local?Government Area of Niger State.
Until his transfer to Ondo State Command, Yakubu was a commandant in?charge of Administration at the Corps National Headquarters in Abuja.?In a statement issued to Daily Times?on Saturday?in Akure, by the?State Command’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), Kayode Balogun, said?Commandant Yakubu has worked in various formations of the Corps before?his recent posting to the state.
“Commandan Claudius Danladi Yakubu has worked in various formations of?NSCDC before his recent posting to Ondo state Command, this include:?Zone ?D? headquarters Minna, College of Peace and Disaster Management,?Katsina”, he said.
The new Commandant Claudius obtained National Certificate in Education?(NCE) from the College of Education, Minna, Niger State,? Bachelor of?Art in English from Usman Danfodiyo University Sokoto, Sokoto State,?and Master in Business Administration from Ladoke Akintola University?of Technology, Ogbomoso, Osun State.
Yakubu posting to the state is coming few weeks after the former?Commandant of the State, Issa Shuaib?Akanbi, died at the age of 50 in an undisclosed hospital due to brief a illness.
