As part of its on-going efforts to eliminate the remaining 60% of identified schools under trees Government has commissioned some development projects in the Sunyani municipality.
The projects comprise 2-unit KG classroom block at Jinijini, 3-unit classroom block at Nwawasu, 2-unit teacher?s quarters at Nwawasu, 6-unit classroom block at Meredane and 3-unit classroom block at Abisim.
The cost of all the projects is about Ghc500, 000, it was funded by government through the Districts Development Fund (DDF).
The MCE for the area reiterated President Mahama?s commitment to remove the remaining schools under trees in the country.
