The National Democratic Congress leadership and governance which enjoy huge dynamics and voter endorsement in the recent 2012 presidential election where the party strive to win the election without any second round as compared to the late professor Mills who battled to beat Nana Akufo Addo in the 2008 election in second round.

The road to 2016 election has to do with records and results achieved from the NDC manifesto espouse during the 2012 campaign propagated through the four corners of Ghana and the brand and the image of all the presidential contestants. The National Democratic Congress dynamics of political brands and governance been use to market the president and its success stories from this time to 2016 must be examine careful for the party to work out the new dynamics and the strategy for the 2016 election.

There is a misfiling on the part of the working class, party faithful and the citizenry towards the presidency and his team, carrying a picture of lairs and deceit. More especially the president is gradually loosing the credibility star he enjoyed as a promising leader that can fast track the development of Ghana.

It is a duty call for the communication team to grant the president a window of quiet political break in terms of its public events to allowed him to lay back and watch and work on some key sectors of the economy such as Education, the Economy and Agriculture to boost her stature from the 2015 political year to enabling him to rise above some major flip flop the president suffered from most on timelines on projects which has to do energy and new Senior High School projects as a major flagship projects for 2016election year.

The political opponents has come on a conclusion that the political brand of the president John Dramani Mahamah has to do with his image and statesman?s craft ship which is a great asset in all political dynamics and strategy in all electioneering campaign. The president by 2016 stands to be the youngest president to compete with the winner of the flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party after their primaries which is yet to catch fire with major setbacks of credibility and rancor among the rank and files of the NPP.

CONTEST AND GOVERNANCE

The governance style and leadership of the president John Dramani Mahamah has suffered a huge collateral damage right after the Electoral Commission has declared him the winner in the 2012 election. The president administration was faced with political storm of courts, ministerial appointments, internal cracks among the new and the old faithful of the late professor Mills and how to manage the new faces with so much expectations who have work hard with the hope to be part of the Mahamah government.

There was a stalemate at the presidency which has to do with how to balance the tribal card on appointment and vary of issues which has to do with the old guards of the party. These internal problems really affected the governance of the NDC in power for the past one year and as the leadership is gradually shading of all the political bottle necks steadily to the close of the last quarter of 2014.

The contest and governance of President Mahamah leading to 2016 must change and he must reposition his campaign team at the last quarter of the 2014 to carry out soul searching on the new dynamics and how to win power come 2016. The sincerity on the part of the government to admit in good faith on the growth and development of the country which has to do with the falling cedi against the dollar and the strategic plans the government is taking to restore the confidence in the Ghanaian economy is quiet gaining positive response. Though Ghanaians can boldly say that the situation of electricity is getting stable and prices of food stuff is quiet enjoying low relative prices as compared to first and second quarter of 2014.

The governance and leadership style of the president which has to do with brand and political image must be lowered from the public in last quarter of 2014 for the president to gather momentum to take off on a clean sheet come 2015. This is to help him to correct his image and brand which he has suffered from political insults by painting him as non performing president from 2013 till to date.

The contest of 2016 has to do with trust and credibility. The president has nothing to do than to concentrate his entire arsenal on checking and auditing of all going projects which he can ride on to contest the NPP; that is striving hard to capture power come 2016. The president still has the chance to win the 2016 election, but then all depends on how he supervise his team of minister from the last quarter of 2014 to 2016 December before going to polls. It is likely hood that, Nana may lost to John Dramani Mahamah again since the marginal voters still trust the president despite all the odds of the economy.

The open door policy of the government going all out to seek bail out and rally all ideas from all stake holders paint his leadership as a humble president who is prepared to admits his mistakes in good faith. These attitudes always carry him very high in the 2016 contest.

THE VOTER

The Ghanaian voter attitude come 2016 is going to be full of confusion and bizarre since the trust and confidence of government is gradually wavering very fast as our young democracy is going through a storm of credibility and trust on the part of politicians. The two major political parties the National Democratic Congress and the New Patriotic Party posture and credibility test to win the votes of the electorate is on the line.

The Ghanaian voter is getting more enlighten to issues and content of information on all policies and governance approach of all the political parties. The recent strikes and resentment on the part of workers may look to go against the government, but then can the NPP provide the best alternatives to gamut of problems confronting the government? I would urge all the political parties going in for the 2016 presidential and parliament elections must work towards credibility and alternatives to all fail policies of the NDC come 2016 December elections.
