The body of the deceased
An unidentified woman was found killed and dumped in a gutter opposite the Excel Filling Station at Techiman on Friday, January 10.
Speaking to DAILY GUIDE, Crime Officer of the Techiman Police Station, DSP Kusi Appiah, said a boy who had gone to gather some fodder to feed his rabbits broke the news to the town.
He said when the police was contacted; he dispatched some officers to the scene and the corpse was conveyed to the Techiman Holy Family Hospital.
DSP Kusi Appiah added, ?Though doctors have not yet released any autopsy report, there was a deep cut on the deceased?s forehead which indicates that she was hit with a heavy object.?
He said since nobody had reported of a missing woman to the police, it could mean that she was killed somewhere and dumped at the place.
DSP Kusi Appiah is appealing to the general public to help identify the corpse which had been deposited at the Holy Family Hospital Morgue.
