The Member of Parliament (MP) for Akropong Constituency and former Deputy Defence Minister under President Kuffuor?s administration, Hon. William Ofori Boafo has donated computers to schools in his Constituency.
Among the beneficiary schools are Larteh Anglican, Mamfi Methodist Mampong Presby Larteh Presby and Larteh Methodist Primary Schools.
Hon. W.O. Boafo, revealed to The Moment that? he? donated the computers to the? Schools because? he wanted? to? promote I.C.T? programme? in? the? area.
He said, he also donates four (4) computers to Akropong Divisional Police Station.
According to him, he occassionally presents computers to schools that have no such facilities.
He hinted that, as MP he has done what he could for his Constituency, believing that come December 2012 his people will again give him the nod as their MP to continue his good works.
He urged all the people in the Akropong Constituency to vote massively for him and the NPP come December polls to take Ghana to a different level.
