Owner of the Melcom disaster building, Nana Boadu Nkansah Ayeboafo, has expressed disappointment and shock at the way and manner the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) has handled the incident so far.
Speaking on Accra-based Okay FM, Nana Boadu said the disaster had left him ?confused and devastated.?
He called for forgiveness and apologised to the families who lost relations and loved ones and injured victims.
He prayed for God?s strength for those families who are bereaved or got their relatives injured through the collapse.
He was quick add that he is disquieted at the handling of the incident by the AMA.
According to him, AMA is treating the matter as if ?it was intentional? and noted that the AMA lawyer battling the case in court was not a qualified lawyer.
?I have therefore petitioned the BNI and other security agencies to investigate the attitude of the AMA towards the disaster,? he disclosed.
