A twenty-eight-old man is facing the traditional authorities of Assin Donpim in the Central Region for having sex with a sheep.
Kofi Barima was said to have been caught in the ?abominable act? in the shed of the animals of his friend, Kofi Lamptey, when the animal bleated painfully.
He questioned the people who caught him in the act whether the matter concerned them. Besides, the animal was nobody?s wife.
His utterance angered the people around. They gave him a mild beating and dragged him to the traditional authorities.
According to reports, Kofi had been divorced by his wife with whom they have one child because of such untoward behaviours.
The paper also learnt that it was the fourth time Kofi have had an affair with a sheep.
The authorities noted that what Kofi has done was a taboo and that it had brought filth on the land.
According to them, they consider the matter as a serious one and would decide what to do accordingly.
The Divisional Police Commander, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Okyere, indicated that the act was criminal and assured that the appropriate sanctions would be taken.
