The brands Manager of De United Foods Industries Limited, producers of Indomie, Shine Akiem Torsoo, says Ghanaians should extend the euphoria of the Mothers? Day celebrations to makeg all policies gender sensitive.

He said considering the significant role of women in the society, ensuring that every policy is gender sensitive would improve on its success.
Mr Torsoo was speaking at an interview during an event to reward more than 100 people and their mothers as part of this year?s Indomie Mothers? Day celebrations.
The event was put together by producers of Indomie Instant Noodles to enable patrons to celebrate and honour their mothers on the special day.
The winners were selected from among people who participated in a competition by writing on what they felt special about their mothers and posted it on the facebook page of the company.
The winners received free tickets to watch a movie of their choice with their mothers at the Silverbird Cinema along with several products of Indomie Instant Noodles.
Mr Torsoo said the role that women play in the development of the country could be enhanced if every policy has a gender perspective.
He said it is the same thinking that backs the institution of the Indomie Mothers? Day event.
Mr Torsoo explained that besides the fact that Indomie prides itself with maintaining a healthy relationship with patrons of its products, the company finds it even more crucial if it has to do with women.
