The Suhum National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) office has appealed to all residents to participate in the ongoing biometric registration exercise in the Municipality.
Speaking to the GNA, Mr Wisdom Amiable, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the scheme, said even though a lot of people had registered under the biometric registration scheme, he believed there were still more people who had not been registered .
Mr Ahiable said as at September this year, the scheme had registered 50,315 people.
He said they have been able to go to many remote areas and villages across the municipality to register the people to save them from travelling long distances to Suhum.
