All Progressive Congress (APC) is set to provide the basic needs for the people to deepen the nation?s democracy, a CPC Chieftain, Pastor Ezekiel Longe, said on Saturday in Abuja.
Longe, the National Financial Secretary of CPC said after the last midterm national convention of the party, that APC?s primary objective was to deliver the dividends of democracy to all citizens.
He expressed optimism that APC would offer Nigerians good governance that would bring an end to insecurity, poverty, economic down turn, and general unpleasant situations being experienced in the country now.
Longe said all member of the association had agreed to uplift Nigeria by providing a viable alternative political platform to promote Nigeria in a manner that Nigerian citizens had not witnessed before.
The National Financial Secretary urged Nigerians to believe in the ideologies of APC in order to establish true participatory democracy in Nigeria.
He described CPC national convention as a vast success, adding that the resolutions at the convention would be sent to Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to enhance the registration of All Progressive Congress (APC).
He appealed to INEC to remain unbiased in all its dealing towards registration of APC as a political party in Nigeria.
Longe urged the Federal Government to tackle current national challenges in order to promote development.
