Throughout my tenure in college most of the handouts handed to me quotes and phrases from Socrates, Roosevelt and the like. I just peeped through a list of political scientists in Wikipedia and I see no Ghanaians.? So, Dr. A. A. and Professor B. B.? When will we see your writings, research videos and pictures in Wikipedia? Help your?students quote your statements and phrases during exams. Help me too… to quote you in my next article.

I am happy when I see the books during my senior High School tenure such as akiola series and ?a touch of class? in senior high by Naa Afarley Sackeyfio. The connection is ?deep since it is a blood author whose experiences transcribe to our understanding.? Do ?you find it difficult or you don?t have time? Pass the knowledge, Professor, for ?knowledge is only best when shared, only if you are looking for a better and powerful generation.
Hand out your papers and not their papers for theirs tell us stories outside the country we live in. But yours will be within our horizon. Take us on an expedition of your works which happened here in Ghana, one that our pockets can afford and where no immigration department can deny us. Nevertheless, we are humble to learn and appreciate their works. Seeing is believing, but touching is an experience. This is a land of diverse resources, but so is knowledge and one is powerless without knowledge. The knowledge bank is abandoned; it needs a refill. Feed us, for we are a reflection of you.
Your publications and articles which are kept safe in the house should be brought to the classrooms or otherwise to the archive for a legitimate preservation and storage. Excuses on difficulties on how to share the research works which include videos and pictures are limited since platforms for sharing are all over the internet; youtube.com, academia.edu,? whiles discussion is being held on several forums on the social media;?Facebook, Twitter. Free blog sites can be created at wordpress.com,, blog.com and Blogger.com. The creation of the Internet was the result of attempts to connect research networks; the first ever message on the internet was sent from the University of California to Stanford Research Institute.
If this contribution is done, your name, such as Atiemo and Issac Prah will not be forgotten. Your phrases and quotes will forever live on our lips.
Your bedroom, which serves as an institutional repository, should be given a break to maintain its peaceful atmosphere. The stock of records in your homes should be brought out for recognition and appreciation.
It is only when the bell rings for departure is when we pass on the knowledge. The eleventh hour breaks hearts and puts us in the wonderland; it does us no good. If internet platforms will cost you too much, just deposit it in the archive such as The Institute of African Studies Audio Visual Archive. Let?s make research exciting and interesting to draw out inspiration for it is mostly seen as one of the scariest and dangerous recipes of all time. Give us the zeal to generate our curiosity and openness to find out more.
The knowledge Bank is here and it is in you!
