The Labour Party(LP) in Anambra State?has given a rising hope to the citizens to use the opportunity of the?Nov 16,2013?governorship election to arrest the mounting infrastructure decay and collapse in the state due to lack of maintenance, by voting its candidate, Dr Ifeanyi Patrick Ubah.

“I will ensure that every part of the state is progressively linked to the national, implement a waste management and environmental beautification programme.

“I also plan to carry out an affordable housing programme by strengthening the state Housing Corporation, revive the water corporation to commence provision of drinkable public water; implement a comprehensive plan for the construction and maintenance of urban and rural roads.”, Ubah disclosed.

He also intend to use the River Niger and its tributaries for water transportation to ease the movement of people and goods in and out of Anambra state, while an intra-state transport system to encourage easy access within cities and towns in and around the state environs.
