The newly elected District chief executive for Kpone-Katamanso District Alhaji E. A. Tetteh has accepted the endorsement of members of the assembly as the first District?Chief Executive?for the District assembly when he was elected.
Addressing the assembly, the District chief executive said the assembly has started a journey of fulfilling the dreams of ?our fathers and compatriots,? a charge to lift the people from poverty and bring development to the doorsteps of the people.
He said, the onus lies on them to lift the image of the assembly as a model assembly in the Commonwealth of District Assemblies in the country, saying, ?a charge to meet the needs and aspirations of the people and a charge to guarantee our peace. He said it is through hard work that we can achieve the needs and aspirations of our people.?
He promised to operate on open door administration in which all suggestions would be welcomed and those that fit to project the image of the assembly would be brought on board. Adding, ?We cannot achieve the needs and aspirations of our people unless we are united.?
He intimated that the greatest they can do is to love what they do and appealed to all the assembly members and Traditional authorities and corporate institutions to lend him their support to push the agenda forward for the good of the people.
