
XYZ Sports has reported that Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the life patron and owner of football club Kumasi Asante Kotoko, has dissolved the 12-man board of porcupine warriors.
The Ashanti King has also appointed former Player and ex-international Opoku Nti as Interim Chief Executive of the Club.
A seven-member board on Monday appointed former Ghana Bar Association President Paul Adu-Gyamfi as Acting Executive Chairman after Dr. K.K. Sarpong quit his role last week following intense pressure from the Club?s fans.
In a related development, head Coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has been retained as the head coach of the team and is expected to lead the Porcupine Warriors in the next season.
Mas-Ud Didi Dramani led the club to the league title in the 2012/13 season.
