Some former students of Kolege Senior High School, the school in the middle of controversy this week for failing to register about 195 students for this year?s West African Secondary School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE) have narrated to Spyghana.com the barbaric attitude of the director of the school and his sexual escapades with students.
Spyghana.com visited the school?s premises some hours after the news broke that the school authorities were unable to register any of the 195 students who had prepared to look for their fate in the Sub-Regional exams which was to determine their fate. This was after they had gone through vigorous academic exercises in the school for the last four years.
In anger and perhaps out of frustration, the student pounds on all properties of the school and tore it into pieces. They went on rampage on Wednesday morning destroying every single property of the school; from exercise books, chairs and computers to glass and generator, fridge among others. The School Director?s ash opel vehicle was burnt down to ashes-beyond recognition.
The computer laboratory, administration block, staff common room and the security post in the school were ?turned upside down? and can be likened only to a rubbish damp.
It took the police and the fire service a while to before they were able to bring the situation in the school under control. Several hours after the riot pockets of angry students were seen still hanging around in groups and threatening to pull down the school building as soon as the police leaves. This caused the police to stay a bit longer to prevent anymore incident.[nggallery id=233]
The Revelations
The Spyghana.com team on the visit came across some ladies claiming to be former students of the school, some of whom could not complete the school and had to leave to continue elsewhere due to an alleged constant sexual harassments from one Mr. Frank Ato Abraham, the Chief Executive Officer of Kolege Investments who is also said to own the school.
The former students told the story of how Mr. Ato Abraham would often send them on errands and when they return he would deliberately lure them into his office and fondle their breasts and buttocks. They alleged that sometimes and without any provocation he would asked them to go and dress properly in his office and in the process he would walk in and start touching them at sensitive places. Not even a loud scream would stop him.
In the attached amateur video recording the gals, numbering about seven took turns to explain how Mr. Ato Abraham had forced some of their colleagues to suck his penis and how he eventually got some of their colleagues pregnant and caused then to abort the pregnancy. The girls said it was his constant sexual harassments that caused some of them to leave the school. ?I was glad I left the school to another school else my fate would like this current badge,? one of them stated.
These stories were corroborated by their male colleagues who also added their version of how the Director of the school competed with them over the girls and how some of them attracted his displeasure and got them into his bad books.
What We Saw ??
We took up the challenge and popped our probing eyes into the office of Mr. Ato Abraham?s office and to our surprise we found a full bedroom set up with mattress and bed sheets of different types even though we were informed that he does not stay there. Worse of all, we discovered packs of condoms and used and unused tissues in his office, a kind of evidence suggesting that Mr. Ato Abraham does more done academic supervision in his office.
