The chiefs and people of Kofisah, near Nsawam in the Eastern Region, have launched a four-year development plan for the area.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency, Nana Abegya II said the projects would be supported with communal labour and self-help contributions of GH? 50.00 per male, GH? 20 a female, whilst non-residents would pay GH? 100.00.
Nana Kwaabea II, Queenmother of the town, offered land for the projects.
She appealed to the Nsawam-Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly and the Member of Parliament, Mr Frank Annor Dompreh to support them in their efforts.
