The Junior Wasps will host their Ugandan counterparts in a friendly match aimed at fine-tuning the national U-20 team ahead of the 2013 African Youth Championship qualifiers slated for April.
Head coach Richard Tardy told Times Sport yesterday, “We are playing Uganda as part of the preparations for the U-20 qualifiers which are set to start in mid April,”
“We also hope to enter camp in March.”
The qualifying round will be held between April and October.
The 2013 African U-20 Championship will be held in Algeria with all four semi-finalists guaranteed a slot at the 2013 Fifa U-20 World Cup.
