Joy Dadi Sponsors Inter Community Gala

The Koforidua Municipality Joy Dadi Inter Community Soccer tournament opened at the Koforidua Methodist School Park over the weekend.

wpid-footballjpgpagespeedceVId9czVxgI.jpgIn all, 16 teams from the various suburbs in the Municipality are taking part in the tournament.

The teams have been grouped into four, to play in a league and Group A, is made up of Oguaa, Osabene, Kantudu and Fresh Air.

Brave, Young Boys, Zongo and Riis make up Group B, while Group C comprises Nsukwao, Future, Professionals and Zongo ?B?.

The Group D teams are Srodae, Betom, Ahenbronom and Jah Bless.

In the group matches played, Osabene drew 1-1 with Oguaa, Riis walloped Young Boys 4-0, while the match involving Zongo ?B? and Nsukwao ended 0-0.

In the other group matches, Betom beat Jah Bless 3-2, Zongo defeated Brave 3-1 , while Professionals beat Fresh Air 1-0.

Ahenbronom drew 0-0 with Srodae, while the match involving Zongo and Young Boys also ended 0-0 and Kantudu defeated Oguaa 1-0.

According to the organisers of the tournament, the first four teams that top their groups would automatically qualify to the knockout stage and each of them would be presented with two sets of jerseys which they would use for the semifinals and final matches.

The winner of the Gala would take home GH? 2, 000.00, a set of Jersey and a football, the second place team would receive GH? 1,000.00, a set of jersey and a football, the third team goes home with GH? 500.00 a set of jersey and a football and the team that places fourth would be given a set of jersey and a football.

The gala which is expected to end in two weeks is being sponsored by Joy Dadi Company Limited, producers of Joy Dadi Bitters, an alcoholic beverage.
