Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyapong, Chairman of the Jospong Group of Companies announced this and said the center would teach Ghanaians the basic Chinese philosophy of doing business and how to develop strong personal relationships with Chinese business people and nationals.

Dr. Siaw Agyapong made this observation when the Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese Peoples Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), H. E. Yu Zhengsheng visited the Vehicle Assembling Plant and other units of the Group in Accra.
The CPPCC leader attributed Jospon’s success to the business principles of the Chinese he has instilled in himself over the past years.
Dr. Siaw Agyapong said, in 2006, he traveled to Italy to buy a truck, and when he got there, the money on him could only buy one truck “…… But when I went to China, I bought ten trucks with the same money I had on me when I went to Italy. It was there that I decided I will bring China to Ghana.”
He said, “But in doing so, one needed to understand the Chinese principles of doing business. This has kept me going and we want to establish a research center that will train Ghanaians in that regard.”
