John Boye will need a surgery to correct a nose injury
Ghana defender John Boye will need surgery to fully recover from a nose injury he sustained last month, MTNFootball.com can confirm.
The 24-year-old sustained the injury after clashing with a Valenciennes striker in a Ligue 1 game at the Stade du Hainaut.
Rennes team doctors further assessed the injury situation last week and have recommended an operation for the Black Stars defender.
Boye told MTNFootball.com: “I will need surgery for my nose injury. The team doctors have looked at the situation and have recommended surgery.”
Boye wore a protective mask during last Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Lyon.
