Jerry Shelika, known to the public as Jay Sleek is from Kogi State but was born in the heart of Nigeria in a state called Plateau Jos. Jay Sleek grew up in his fathers church, which is where his love for music began. He would play church instruments, that eventually led him to play for different church choirs.
While practicing and working on his craft, Jay Sleek moved to Abuja and perfected his craft.
He later moved to Lagos and began working with Sound Sultan and later started working with big artists such as 2face, Wizkid, Dbanj, Wande Coal, Timaya, Wyre, Wyclef, Olamide, Sammy Cash and many more.
Jay Sleek is currently in Atlanta working on new projects. He is set to release his compilation album that will feature artists such as Ice Prince, 2Face, Wizkid, Timaya and a few other big artists.
There is a huge difference between a beat maker and a producer. Jay sleek has certainly proved to be a great producer through the quality of his work. His ability to play different instruments and be able to shape and mold a piece of music into his vision, is what has set him apart from the beat makers.
The first single from the album should be out by October of this year and after that will follow the release of the album in December. ?I?have put my all into this project and i know everyone will love it. Its some of my best work that I wanted to put together and share with the world?.
