Recently, the Chairman of the Gomoa Assin Ajumako Islamic Community, Mallam Yakubu Sannie Abdulahi and his Secretary Abubakar Kwesi added their voice to the condemnation by these terrorist groups at an Annual Convention held at Gomoa Obuase which was on the theme:” Projecting the True Meaning of Jihad.”
According to them, Jihad does not mean taken the life of innocent and defenseless people but projecting and protecting the image of the Islamic religion with a just course.
Latest to add their voice to the call are the Agona West Municipal Chief Imam Alhaji Idris Musah Sori and the Agona Swedru Imam of the Ahmadyya Muslim Mission and Chief Executive of Arahman Herbal Centre, Abdullah Amoah.
