
President Goodluck Jonathan Monday admitted that there had been irregularity in the accounting system of Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
However, Jonathan assured that his administration would resolve problems and challenges that had led many to believe that the country is not abreast of the exact amount of oil pumped into the market on a daily.
Speaking in Amsterdam, Netherlands when he engaged Nigerian community there in an interactive session, he confirmed the $10bn that had not been reconciled by the NNPC which was discovered by Ministry of Finance, saying this culminated into the ordering of a forensic audit of the corporation.
