Inusah Musah carry Hearts responsibilities with ease

Stand-in captain for Accra Hearts of Oak, Inusah Musah has said he is ready to lead the team as the substantive captain, if "given the chance", after leading the team to a lone goal victory over Ebusua Dwarfs in the 28th week match of the Ghana Premier League (GPL) at the Accra Sports Stadium last Sunday.

The lanky pillar at the back for Hearts deputised as captain in the absence of Robin Gnagne in their week 28 encounter with Ebusua Dwarfs at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Inusah, who enjoyed a stellar performance as captain for the Phobians, showing glimpses of his leadership qualities was named as the man-of-the-match.

Leading by example Inuash spectacularly cleared a Bright Lukeman goal bound effort from a yawning net to keep his charges in the game amidst several important interceptions.

The stalewart defender says he was motivated by the armband even though he was under some form of pressure.

“I feel good to captain a big club like Hearts of Oak. It comes with a lot of pressure but I can manage,” an excited Insah said.

He further revealed that he has the requisite temperament to lead the formal African champions if given the opportunity.
