Nigerian rapper Ice Prince has shared the most detailed public account yet of the lifestyle overhaul behind his noticeable physical transformation, describing the regimen as a testimony of grace and a work still in progress.
The rapper, born Panshak Zamani and known for his 2011 hit Oleku, posted a video on Instagram on Thursday revealing a slimmer physique alongside a comprehensive breakdown of the habits he has cut and the disciplines he has adopted. The post follows earlier disclosures in March in which he spoke about quitting smoking and alcohol and described the change as the best decision of his life.
The full routine is significantly more structured than those earlier hints suggested. On the dietary side, he has eliminated sugar, alcohol, wine and energy drinks, soda, noodles, pasta, bread, and seed and vegetable oils. For drinks, he sticks to water, homemade smoothies, coconut water, ginger tea, green tea, and black coffee. He structures meals around a 50 percent protein, 30 percent vegetables, and 20 percent carbohydrates split, and alternates between one meal a day four times a week and two meals a day three times a week.
The lifestyle changes extend well beyond food. Ice Prince listed daily morning and evening walks, a daily workout, a fixed 10pm bedtime, six to seven hours of sleep, an hour of reading each day, and celibacy as current commitments. He signed off the post by stating that he has never used drugs, substances, or supplements of any kind.
The Instagram post drew widespread attention and praise, with fans and media commentators highlighting the rapper’s consistency and discipline. He had previously told followers in March that quitting smoking was the single best decision of his life, describing the experience as feeling “unchained and saved.” The latest update suggests the transformation is ongoing, with the rapper approaching the project as a long-term lifestyle rebuild rather than a short-term fitness effort.
