The Hyundai EON on display at the Hyundai showroom near the Obetsebi Lamptey Circle

HYUNDAI MOTORS and Investments Ghana Limited has officially launched its all-new Hyundai EON car onto the Ghanaian market.

The 2012 Hyundai EON, manufactured by Hyundai India, inherits looks from the Hyundai i10, and is a manual transmission.

Hyundai EON is also a fuel efficient car with great style, comfort & quality.

At the media launch in Accra, Rockson Johnson, Director of Sales and Marketing at Hyundai Motors, said “because the Eon has been designed to be smart, efficient and ecologically-friendly, its power system is able to squeeze 21.1 kilometres out of every liter of fuel, which keeps driving costs low.”

He noted that the car’s sporty interior design contributes to a spacious, comfortable feeling, which makes driving fun.

“EON comes with front bucket seats, an optional three-spoke steering wheel and a futuristic gauge cluster featuring a three-barrel design ringed by attractive chrome accents. The metallic inserts on the door handles and centre fascia add to the upscale look of the interior.”

According to Mr Johnson, Hyundai’s advanced new engine developed for EON is renowned for its durability and outstanding power-to-weight ratio.

He said “Epsilon’s fuel economy rating of 20.8 kilometres per liter is sure to leave customers smiling.”

The Hyundai EON Classic is selling at $9,600 while the EON Executive is selling at $10,100.
