HMD-Forewin, heavy machinery and building equipment suppliers operating in West Africa has been honoured at the recently held Ghana Construction Awards 2015.
A statement issued in Accra by Derrick N.A Tagoe, Media Relations Officer, ReachPR and copied to the Ghana News Agency said the construction equipment company won two awards namely ‘Excellence in Customer’ and ‘Construction Equipment Supplier of the Year’.
Receiving the award on behalf of the company, Mark Bacon, General Manager, HMD-Forewin Ghana, said: “We are pleased that the Ghana Construction Awards has recognised the work and investment we have made in the industry. Our commitment to the industry is unrivalled and we will continue to be the best at what we do.”
Speaking at the Award ceremony, Akin Naphtal, CEO of InstinctWave, organisers of the event said: “We warmly congratulate all those honoured today. We are very proud to be the pioneer of celebrating a vital industry like construction.”
Considered the construction industry’s premier annual awards programme, more than 20 projects were honoured across 25 different categories. More than 15 companies and were also recognised for their highly successful and exceptional contribution to the industry.
“It is an incredible achievement to be announced as an award winner today, as the high calibre of nominees is a true reflection of the dynamic, professionalism and excellence, attributes that will drive this industry in the following years,” Mr Naphtal added.
According to Mr Bacon: “This award is a true reflection of our hard work and effort to give our customers the best of service. This recognition is true testament of the value we have placed in service delivery and client satisfaction”.
The Ghana Construction Awards is designed to celebrate the continued growth and success of the construction industries while recognising and rewarding excellence in service delivery, professionalism and innovation.
