Kokomlemle-based Hitz FM has improved its coverage and sound quality resulting in clearer sound, improved quality and a wider coverage.

This follows a period when the station could hardly be heard and listeners struggled to follow their favourite programmes and presenters.

With its improved coverage and sound quality, the station can be heard from Cape Coast to Suhum and beyond.

This means that listeners can now listen to a politics free alternative show in the morning on ‘Daybreak Hitz’ with the suave Lexis, followed by the iconoclastic Blakk Rasta with his commentary on social issues and exciting blend of music and information.

Kwame Bee, who is on Hitz TV where he hosts ‘Hitz Drive’ and ‘Hitz Countdown’, runs the city with ‘Cruiz Control’ after DJ Awana treats listeners to some real groovy highlife tunes.

Other shows that listeners can hear with the improved sound quality and coverage include ‘Hitz Chartshow’ with Lexis and DJ Black’s ‘Mix of Blackness’ on Thursday’s and Saturdays.

For the more musically inclined, DJ Laposta and DJ Haglah serve ‘Hitz Gallery’ and ‘Hitz Jamz’ during the week and Haglah returns on Sunday with ‘Hitz Party Time’.

In addition to Blakk Rasta’s weekday reggae show, Daddy Bosco serves some vintage reggae music and ‘filla’ on Sundays, while good old Odeefuor rocks the Saturday mornings.

For those who love their drama, ‘Story Story’ produced by BBC is on offer on Sundays.

For entertainment lovers, Hitz has a comprehensive offering for your delight and it’s a challenge to you to get entertained.
