“Five children were playing around 07:00 (05:00 GMT) and they saw a stone-like object and they manipulated it without knowing what it was.

It was a grenade which exploded, killing three children on the spot and seriously injuring two others,” said Muyinga District Administrator Philippe Nkeramihigo.
He indicated that all the victims were relatives.
Meanwhile, Nkeramihigo added that “no illegally held arm” was handed over to security forces in Muyinga district during the five-day ultimatum (Nov. 2-7) given by Burundian President Pierre Nkurunziza before the beginning of the forced disarmament of civilians. Enditem
