General Secretary of the Convention peoples Party,Ivor Greenstreet says he has forgiven Sam George for the “elevation” comment he(Sam George) posted on his facebook page after Ivor Greenstreet criticized the Government of not fulfilling its “Better Ghana” promise.
“I and Mr.George have had some problems in the media these few days but since we are in Christmas and the season of love so i forgive and forget all the issues,”he said.
Sam George posted on his facebook page after Ivor Greenstreet criticized the NDC Government at its National Delegates Congress for subjecting Ghanaians to hardship although they promised a “Better Ghana” saying “Ivor Greenstreet apparently needs some elevation to see the better Ghana.”
Sam George’s post on his facebook page earned him various criticism from the public for being intolerant.
After the Congress,Sam George said he “stands by his word that Ivor Greenstreet needed an elevation to see how the Government is working relentlessly to provide a Better Ghana.”
However,Ivor Greenstreet on TV3’s New Day in a handshake said “he has forgiven Sam George for his(Sam George) elevation comment because it is a season of love and affection so people need to come to together as a body.”
