Parts of Accra were flooded following the downpour on Sunday, 5 June 2022.
The rains lasted for about four hours.
Affected areas include: Kaneshie, Awudome, Obetsebi-Lamptey Roundabout, Okponglo and Shiashie.
Accra has been experiencing flooding since the beginning of the rainy season with some persons displaced each time it rains.
Meanwhile, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has asked the Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assemblies (MMDAs) in the Greater Accra Region to demolish all structures causing flooding in the city.
