Goran Stevanovic fired!! Desailly named blackstar coach?

Goran Stevanovic is heading for the exit door as Ghana coach according to the state-owned Graphic Sports newspaper and veteran sports journalist Kwabena Yeboah.
The Serbian’s future is back on the agenda at an extra-ordinary meeting of the executive committee of the Ghana Football Association on Thursday but Yeboah who was with the side during the Nations Cup in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea says
“all indications are that Goran Stevanovic will be fired.”
The 45-year old has one year remaining on his current contract and is adamant he is the right man to take the Black Stars forward with 2014 world cup qualifiers to come in June.
Yeboah says he struggles to see how Stevanovic can be held responsible for Ghana’s failure to win the trophy at the Cup of Nations but thinks his relationship with key members in the football association has deteriorated to a point where they would opt to pay him off and hire a new man.
That pay-off the Graphic Sports says will amount to the equivalent of his 3 month salary which could come to 90,000 Euro. The newspaper also claims former France captain will be installed as coach if Stevanovic is fired.
