Goodluck Jonathan has charged electorates to play by the rule

Ahead the 2015 general elections, President Goodluck Jonathan has charged the electorates especially politicians to endeavor they play by the rule always.
President Jonathan who made the passionate plea at a presidential launch in Aso Rock villa tasked politicians to endeavor to play by the rules as the elections draw nearer observing that some politicians see the election as the beginning and end of their world.

“The election is not the end of the world” he said rhetorically, adding “you win or lose the world continues to exist with more opportunities, so it is not a do or die affair, everybody must play according to the rules to ensure the success of the election”

TAN through its Director of Public Communications and Strategy, Dr Udenta O Udenta tasked politicians on issues-based campaign and avoid issues that are capable to generate rancor and bitterness like name calling, blackmailing, casting of aspersions and vituperation on the opponents.

Dr Udenta said that Jonathan who is contesting for the highest office in the land has set the tone by calling for the rules to take precedence on campaigns, noting that such was expected only from a good leader.

“This is all about leadership by example and pure evidence that Mr President is not desperate for his reelection bid. More so, don’t forget this is president that has been abused severally by the opposition like their children abuse their school mates. Yet he is not bothered because he is focused on transforming the country”he added,

The TAN spokesman urged all politicians to buy into the humble mind and play by the rules message of Mr president and avoid hitting the polity with inflammatory statements on campaign.
