If you thought Luis Suarez?s nibble at Branislav Ivanovic?s arm back in April was bad, think again: Romanian goalkeeper Mircea Bornescu last night made the Uruguayan look like a cuddly teddy bear.
Petrolul?s Bornescu bit Gaz Metan forward Tha?er Bawab an hour into their Romanian Liga clash ? and received a punch in the face from the forward in return.
The incident occurred when Bawab went to ground injured with his side 1-0 up, staying down for well over a minute.

Incensed by what they suspected to be simulation, a pack of Petrolul players stormed up to the 28-year-old and displayed their evident vexation, with one of them even grabbing Bawab?s leg and yanking him into the air.
That was nothing compared to stopper Bornescu, however, who duly confronted the Jordan striker and sunk his fangs deep into Bawab?s shoulder.
A mass brawl ensued and no less than six players were sent off, with an incredulous eleven yellow cards also branded.
