The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), headline sponsor of the Black Stars, has sent a message of congratulations to the? Black Stars on their qualification to next year’s FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

The Black Stars rode on a healthy first leg win to qualify on a 7-3 aggregate after losing 1-2 to the Pharaohs of Egypt in the return leg match played in Cairo yesterday.

In a message, the Chief Executive Officer of the GNPC, Alex Mould, praised the gallant players? for the tenacity of purpose, resilience and professional excellence that they? demonstrated as a team in the qualifiers and in particular yesterday’s match.
