They say the world is global, a village smaller than it used to be during its non-globalized days. And being a village, the globalized world must certainly have one chief ruling from his centralized palace. Our chief is there somewhere in the West. You know him. But are there any consequences of having people deliberated created diversified and inhabiting a highly diversified world but being ruled by one chief?
And here we are. The way of life of any group of people?culture?is determined by where they live (ie, their environment). However, with the passing of time and with increasing contact with others, some aspects of the culture are changed GRADUALLY either deliberately or accidentally; these mandatory changes aiming to make life more meaningful.
If so, where is the danger posed by having one chief of a different culture ruling all his subjects of different cultures? The danger comes only when the chief wholly and suddenly imposes his remote culture onto all his subject regardless of where they live. But the subjects have option of accepting or rejecting the imposed cultures. ?Hmm! Who dare a Catholic to venture into the kingdom of King Henry VIII?
To see the oddity of having one chief, we start from the ongoing bombardment of Gaza, an action endorsed and executed by the chief. The events leading the continual bombardment are of interest. Several years ago, the persons who are bombarding Gaza now, the Izra-iilis, have a history of being tortured and humiliated. History told us how these ?God-chosen? people were living freely in their native home. By selling their Brother, they relocated to the land of II-jipt. There, history told us how Pharaoh brutalized them until God directed Moses to lead them out of II-jipt.
Living as free people at where Moses led them to, the Izra-iilis went into shambles again. Several years down history, they were again tormented, tortured and nearly exterminated by Nazi Germany. Certainly, the Nazis could never developed hatred for the Izra-iilis without a reason. But whichever the reason was, did it justify a wholesale attempt to wipe out an entire group? Obviously No!
The world, then ruled by several chiefs, sympathized with the Izra-iilis (Jews), mobilized forces and fought and defeated the Nazis, setting free the surviving Jews in whose mind the term Holocaust is indelibly embroidered. Today, the Izra-iilis are living freely as citizens in a home called Izra-iil. With their history of being tortured and retortured, the Isra-iilis would probably be the last people on Earth to ?maltreat? any group of persons also under their control.
In contrast, exactly what was done to them is what they doing to the Gazas. Even more than that. And we all know the force(s) behind these actions because the torture history of Izra-iilis and their ancestry (which suggests a close lineage with Gazas) would never allow them (Izra-iilis) to wilfully inflict pain on the Palestines. As I was writing, the Izra-iilis reportedly killed over 1400 Palestines with more than 90 % being civilians especially the aged, women and children (Source: Just turn on your TV).
Despite this extremely worrisome situation, the 72-hour ceasefire agreed, beginning 1st August, is mainly for Pentagon to resupply Izra-iilis with ammunitions. During this period, the Gazas will also bury the dead and get water and other basic necessities before they recoil to their houses where they await their death.
The single most important question which our one chief, the interim superpower, has prevented us from asking is this: ?What prompts an ill-armed Gaza to be firing rockets continuously into super-armed 51st State? Failing to address the cause but rather using the firing of rockets as casus belli for continuously launching attacks on the ?colonized? offers no solution. Just consider the number of such invasions and killings in the last five years. Have the killings prevented the resistance? The world and/or our chief is simply failing to learn.
Thus, whichever reasons our chief and Izra-iilis have, they must recognize that there are consequences and lessons. The first lesson is that the chieftaincy is rotational?it moved from the Romans, the Spaniards etc to reach them today. ?The second is that, the Izra-iilis should be quick to realize that they were the bombarbed and/or the tortured just some few years ago. The third lesson to us all is that there is always a better (non-military) way of resolving nearly every dispute.
Two useful reminders are here. That much as the Nazis tortured and killed most Jews, they (the Nazis) could never have killed all and today, the Jews/Israelites are stronger, better organized and living independently. In the same, much as they (Jews/ Israelites) are killing the Gazas, they (Jews/ Izra-iilis) will never be able to kill them all and that the Gazas will definitely also emerge stronger and independent one day.
We extend the scenario to the rest of the world where our one chief is forcibly imposing his culture irrespective of the unique environs. Straight away, we are in Libya. When the Arab Spring broke out, Nokalas Sakoozi led an offensive to kill the man (Kenel Qadaafi) who financed his (Sakoozi?s) campaigns to being the French PM. Our global chief responded by selling military jets which dropped several dozen of guns. For what? To be used to kill the African Unifier. Whilst the battle was still red, the chief sent an elder and other subordinates from his palace to Qadaafi?s house to organize that place quickly for him (the chief) to start moving Qadaafi?s oils to where his palace is located.
Kenel Qadaafi was killed, but the guns supplied by the chief were not thrown away. In no time, the same guns and the other ammunitions supplied by the chief were used by Qadaafi?s people to the kill the elder and some of the persons the chief had earlier sent to oversee the oil theft. Nemesis! Currently, Qadaafi?s home is redder than it was and people there now needs our chief?s help more than they did some time ago. But what?s the chief?s response? All the persons from my palace at Qadaafi home, RELOCATE?!. What lessons are learnt here? That there are repercussions or boomerang effects of every action and that the chief cannot be relied on at all times. Nonetheless, Qadaafi?s Libya has now become a model democracy implanted in Africa. You needn?t go there to experience the democracy: just turn on your TV.
In II-jipt, the story is dicey. The chief sent two seinaytors there. One of them, Jon Makiin, declared the military takeover as a coup. But the Seketary of State, Jon Keery, said no. For if it?s a coup, the chief?s own laws do allow him to support coup leaders. This is typical of the chief as he is noted for his double standards. In much of the Middle East, the story is no different. The chief equipped Izra-iil with nuclear weapons, but vehemently opposes Iran?s possessing them. Double standards.
Saddam?s home, Irak, is the perfect model of chief?s democracy in the Gulf. The chief told us all?his subjects?that Saddam had some things that he could use to destroy the whole world in a minute. Fearing to counter the chief?s non-grounded claim, the rest of us knew that the chief wanted to take much of Saddam?s oil. The chief?s No.1 poodles, the Queen?s home, spread the chief?s message using their command over the language of the global village. The chief, having never won any war outside his palace alone, mobilized his subjects and invaded Irak.
After killing the falsely accused Saddam and googols of innocent persons, the chief sent intelligent agents who searched the whole Irak and proclaimed that there were no such things that could destroy the world. Hmm! When the fighting was still red hot, the chief falsely declared its military as victors and quickly moved them out of Irak to avoid what happened to his troops at Vientnaam. BACKTRACKING! And now, the fight is even redder than before; the Irakis desperately want the chief?s assistance but he says ?NO?. Why? The chief has suddenly realized that the losses in terms of soldiers far outweigh the gains in terms of oil revenue.? Please, tell the chief to compare Saddam?s Irak to present-day Irak.
Part II focuses on why everybody is unsecured. If in doubt, remember Prof Awoonor?s death.
God bring us PEACE!
