Afriyie Acquah wants to play in the qualifier against Malawi
Italy-based midfielder Afriyie Acquah hopes to play a major role in Ghana?s Nations Cup qualifier against Malawi on Saturday.
The Parma player earned a late call-up to replace injured Emmanuel Agymang-Badu.
The 20-year-old has a bit part player at the Stadio Tardini since moving on a season-long loan deal from Palermo.
Acquah has made three appearances in the Serie Athis term but believes he can help Ghana?s qualification.
?When you look at the club I play for, I?m a regular player. Sometimes I play and sometimes I don?t play so maybe the coach as seen something in me and I?m prepared to give my best,? Acquah told MTNFootball.com
Acquah made his debut in February this year as a second half substitute in the friendly against Chile.
