The two countries further resolved to promote South-South cooperation in the collective interest of the African continent.
Ghana’s Deputy Foreign Minister Emmanuel Bombande said there was much scope for enhancing bilateral cooperation in areas such as agriculture, power, security, among others.
The Namibian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Relations, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, urged both nations to work together to become hubs in their respective regions and to remove the Africa paradox of a rich continent with poor people.
“Our cooperation is not confined to government to government but we are here to facilitate people-to-people conduct as well as business-to-business contracts,” she said at the end of session.
The two countries also signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the fisheries sector. Enditem
