Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom impressed in Cup win for Dnipro
Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom finally got a game under his belt in FC Dnipro?s 1-0 win over Zemchuzhyna Yalta in a Ukrainian Cup match on Sunday.
The 21-year-old excelled in the game to prove his worth to manager Juande Ramos.
Inkoom had been completely frozen out of the Dnipro squad following his decision to snub a club directive not to travel to help the Ghana U-23 team during last year?s All Africa Games qualifier.
The Ghana international has remained patient all this while despite being left out of the team and sometimes left to rot on the bench for games since the start of the season.
His return to first team action comes as a massive relief to many who were concerned over his recent lack of game time.
The ex Asante Kotoko player has been an integral part of the Ghana national team since breaking onto the scene as an exciting teenager after Ghana?s successful run at the 2009 U-20 World Cup in Egypt.
