Atlantic Lithium, a registered and recognized organization into mineral exploration and development has donated an amount of GHC 40,000 to the Central Regional Coordinating Council (CRCC) to support the upcoming Central Expo.
The donation formed part of the organization’s social and corporate responsibility to assist the Region in promoting tourism to attract investors for development.
Mr. Abdul Razak Shaibu Ballah, the Principal Geologist at Atlantic Lithium said there was a need to support the EXPO that aimed at showcasing the potential of the Region to the world.
He believed the fair would provide platforms for all businesses in the Region to market themselves and explain what they do to the world to attract market.
Mr Shaibu- Ballah said the organization bought into the vision of the CRCC to stimulate economic activities in different parts of the Region and beyond, harness its potential and attract investors for the betterment of all.
On behalf of the EXPO steering committee, Mr. Kingsley Adjei Boahen, the Chief Director of the CRCC expressed gratitude to Atlantic Lithum for the donation and pledged to use it for the intended purpose.
The Central Regional Expo on the theme: “Promoting Trade, Tourism, and Investment in the Central Region, Prospects and Solutions”, is slated for Saturday, July 23 to Saturday, July 30 at Adisadel Park.
The programme promises business opportunities, partnerships, networking and job creation with the sole aim of projecting the tourism potential of the region to reposition it for accelerated development.
The Fair which is the second to be hosted as an annual event in the Region after 24 years, would see more than 500 anticipated exhibitors from all angles.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has been scheduled to officially open the expo on Monday, July 25 with at least 32 expected missions and embassies gracing the event.
