?The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany has noted that its contract with VFS Global will end on 31st December 2012.
According to the Embassy, all applicants for short-term Schengen visa for business purposes, visits, holidays or honouring official or private invitations are no longer required to submit their application with the German Visa Reception Center in Labone but are instead asked to book an appointment through the Embassy‘s online appointment system.
?Please note that as of 1st January 2013, all appointments for visa (including long-stay visa for family reunion, studying, re-entry, au pair, etc.) have to be booked through the online appointment system,? it said.
