This would allow governmental authorities, engineers, institutions, and the public to have access and identify electrical contractors when planning to undertake any electrical projects.

The Regional Chairman of GECA, Nana Tetebo disclosed this at a General Meeting in Koforidua, at the weekend.

He said it would involve personal details such as telephone numbers, membership ID cards, certificates and location of members.

Nana Tetebo said a non-profitable organisation known as the World University College (WUC) from Canada, would partner GECA to provide assistance to help improve on its structures and administrative capacities to improve the livelihood of members.

He urged members to take active part in the listing to help boost their businesses.

Topics discussed at the meeting included payment of membership dues, election of regional executives and annual budgets analysis.
