I read with dismay Frances Essiam?s unwarranted attack on the person of T.B. Joshua. The statements she made were reprehensible and must be condemned in no uncertain terms.
First, when and where did T.B. Joshua request to meet Akufo Addo to pray for him to be president? Second, who did he pass the message through to be conveyed or transmitted to Akufo-Addo?
Such shameless posturing and lies by characters like Frances Essiam are hurting the image of Nana Akufo Addo. It is no wonder the NDC saw the light at the end of the tunnel by canning and driving her out of their party. This is unbecoming of a lady with an unbridled tongue who always spews garbage. I advise the NPP to take cue from the NDC and get her to keep her unbridled tongue shut or be expelled. One could remember her attack on Anita Desooso, the NDC, women organizer, as a prostitute. We must be civil in our utterances and such statements must not be made to fester on radio and in public to contaminate our children. This is not what democracy and free speech is about. The NPP needs people who are decorous, sensible and respected and not verbal combatants.
What has T.B. Joshua done to her to warrant that attack? Is T.B. Joshua not an African? Is she saying she is better placed or wiser than those who attend the Synagogue? Such balderdash must stop.
Yes, we do agree there is a tragedy at Synagogue and investigations are still ongoing, so why should Frances try to pre-empt it. We have had tragedies under Kufuor (stadium tragedy), NDC (Melcom) and countless ones befalling pastors, should we then single them for abuse and insults?
I urge Frances to be decorous in her pronouncements and stop the insults which is becoming her trademark.
I said, our God will get back to them. He has started somewhere. He is coming. If your brother is involved, unless he can resurrect the people who died, he will join them. If you can resurrect the people who died, you can go free. The servants, the people who sent them, the people who heard the stories all around and those who want to use it for themselves and disturb my spirit, you may likely join them. Be careful.
