The recognition is FirstBanC’s acknowledgment of clients as the driving force behind all the impressive achievements chalked out over the years.
Mr Gordon P. D. Dery, Head of Marketing and Business Development in an interview with Ghana News Agency, said in appreciation of clients believe in the brand, a series of activities have been designed to reward and delight clients.
He said the week-long celebration has been scheduled to coincide with the international customer service week, which is celebrated annually in the first week of October.
The theme for the international celebration this year is: “Customer Champions.”
He said FirstBanC’s service week celebration, which started from Monday, October 3 would end on Friday, October 7 is dubbed: “Customer Rewards: Creating Loyal Clients.”
“Each client, who visits the FirstBanC will receive a special reward according to the type of products and services assessed by the client and this is been extended to all new accounts opened within the period,” he added.
Mr Dery said with the celebration of the customer service week, the Bank has seen increased in the patronage of its investment products and service by clients.
He said by the end of the year, the Bank would roll out a number of reward schemes to continue to appreciate their loyal clients, who contribute to the growth their business.
On improving their operations, Head of Marketing and Business development said the Bank intends to deploy technology to make it convenient for their clients to do business with them for those, who could not visit their banking halls.
He said they also intends to roll out innovative and creative investment packages targeted at the mass market, especially for market women and artisans among others to create wealth and to grow their businesses.
He said the Bank’s Heritage Fund and First Fund have achieved growth in value and an increase in customer, a reflection of the good performance of these Funds over the years.
He said the First Fund has been adjudged the Best Money Market Mutual Fund in Ghana for five consecutive years since 2011, while the Heritage Fund also outperformed its benchmark Ghana Stock Exchange index.
Mr Dery said the growth in client base has also been remarkable, with the opening of the Tema branch of the Bank to serve Tema and its environs in the Eastern corridor.
“Kumasi branch is in the pipeline and will be positioned in Ashanti Region to serve the Northern sector,” he added.
He said the FirstBanC is committed to provide relevant and timely investment advice and service.
