Three people have died with about twenty five sustaining serious injuries after a premix fuel tanker exploded into flames at Axim.
The injured have been sent to the Axim Government Hospital.
The acting Hospital Administrator told Accra based Joy FM that some of the patients are being sent to another hospital, Effia Nkwanta as they seek to prevent more deaths.
The explosion is believed to have been caused by a generator which was being used to provide power for the distribution of pre-mix due to power outage.
The generator then sparked fire resulting in the explosion. The Ghana Fire Service has since been able to put out the rage.
