Fatau Dauda Finally Receives Work Permit
Ghana goalkeeper Fatau Dauda has finally secured his work-permit, paving the way for him to fight for a starting role at South African side Orlando Pirates, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.
Dauda, who joined the Buccaneers from Ghanaian side Ashantigold, has been battling to get his permit since he joined them back in June.
However good news for the coach Roger de Sa?s men is that the 28-year-old has now been registered with the PSL side and will be available for selection for their Premier League home game against Polokwane City on later today.
?Like I said to you guys, the problem was not with us or his former team, Ashantigold. We were just waiting for Safa to complete his paperwork before we can register him and now that has been done,? Pirates administrative manager said Flyod Mbele said.
Dauda?s registration means that the Ghanaian shot stopper will now be ready to compete with Senzo Meyiwa for the number one spot in coach Roger de Sa?s team.
