I expected Chief Timipre Marlin Sylva to express some remorse about his poor outing. We his kinsmen are the worst hit when we remember those terrible days of non-performance and the sundry cases of extra-judicial murder and mindless stealing. Wisdom implies that you look back, identify your mistakes with a view to apologizie. If I may ask, how much money can atone for the blood of those youths that were killed by Famou Tangbei? Chief Timipre Sylva left behind a huge debt profile which Governor Dickson is defraying. I expected Timipre Sylva to swallow his pride and plead with those he has offended. From what Governor Dickson has put on ground for less than 2 years, I am ashamed that he stayed in power for 4 and half years and had a poor outing.
Look at the quality of followership in the Restoration Administration. All those who matter in Ijawland are a part of the Restoration Government and Governor Dickson already had a development blueprint. See, when I visited the Model Schools, Timipre Sylva was playing politics with, the Mega Schools, the College of education and how many houses they are building within this short period of time, I weep for Timipre Sylva. Governor Dickson has won the hearts of those who are interested in moving the State forward. It is shameful that you could not even complete the UNITY BRIDGE in Nembe. Forthwith, withdraw any case you have against the present Government and show some remorse, make some restitution and learn to work with progressive-minded people.
Governor Seriake Dickson is a focused leader who has the passion to develop Bayelsa State. He will coast from victory to victory until Bayelsa State is fully restored. As you can see, Every political appointee is ready to make sacrifice and that is the way to go.
The money sharing game which was rife in your administration is over. What is required is prudence, transparency and accountability. This is why people are suspecting APC to be trouble makers who will come and bastardize the peace and security we are enjoying in Bayelsa State. Visit Yenagoa of recent and see the massive construction site. Where are the Fishing Trawlers you bought to enhance the employability of Bayelsans? The Bayelsa Plastic Industry you established died before your administration expired. Even the College of Education you wanted to build in Okpoama was a mockery and worst that a glorified secondary school. As a fellow Nembe man, I am so ashamed when all your atrocities are mentioned in Bayelsa State. What a legacy to bequeath to your people! You should show remorse, do restitution and reintegrate into the saner society we are trying to establish. Must you fight all the time even when you are a colossal disaster?
