DATES: 27-28 FEBRUARY 2012
VENUE: MT. MERU HOTEL, ARUSHA, TANZANIA
Event: A two-day Conference on the EAC Financial Sector themed The East African Community after 10 Years: Deepening EAC Integration is taking place from 27th to 28th February 2012 at the Mt. Meru Hotel in Arusha, Tanzania.
Goal: A meeting of experts and policy makers to discuss the EAC’s accomplishments to date, the benefits of regional integration, relevant international experience, the macroeconomic policy challenges and the way forward
Participants: The event will bring together about 100 participants with a broad range of interests and responsibilities, including senior policy makers, other officials, researchers, and business leaders. The conference will be open to the media.
Media Registration: Local and foreign journalists who wish to cover the event are requested to register with the EAC Media Centre by 14:00 HRS (2 PM East African Time) on Saturday 25th February 2012.
