Writers are invited to tell their story and give the world their point of view.

The Web of Life Foundation seeks entries for its international competition on themes related to socio-environmental issues. This year’s theme must deal with “an inspirational future.”

Entries can be short stories, nonfiction or fiction with less than 2,000 words. Essays must be in English. However, writers whose first language is not English are encouraged to apply as language perfection will not be expected.

The winning entry will receive a cash prize of US$1,500. The runner-up will be awarded US$500, and the top stories will be published as a book of collected essays.

The deadline to enter is Sept. 30.
